The tennis court surface is composed of multiple layers of a specially formulated acrylic coating.

When courts are newly installed, sand is added to provide the surface with texture. Over time the surface gradually wears away and resurfacing will be needed. At Southeastern Tennis we apply only 100% acrylic tennis court coatings using the highest standards of workmanship. Make sure your tennis court proposal includes a coat of acrylic resurfacer, which is mixed differently than basic tennis court color coatings, has more pure latex, and suspends large amounts of silica sand and other minerals for the purpose of filling voids in the surface.

The benefits of an acrylic resurfacer include:

  • Creating/restoring surface texture prior to applying color coatings
  • Preventing a too thin application of color coating
  • Producing a longer lasting tennis court surface

Crack repair using Armor®

Cracking is the most common problem with asphalt tennis courts. It is caused in part by asphalt’s natural tendency to shrink as it weathers and ages, but also because asphalt loses its flexibility and becomes more brittle over time. Hard tennis courts are relatively easy and inexpensive to maintain. However they will need to be resurfaced every 5 to 7 years to restore color, texture, and lines depending on the amount of play.

At Southeastern tennis we use only the most advanced paving equipment for our tennis courts and the best resurfacing products in the business. While most contractors install crack filler or fiberglass fabric (which almost always fails within one year), we use the Armor Crack Repair System for long-term results.

Since 1966 we have surfaced and repaired thousands of tennis courts. We believe that offering superior products and services explains why so many loyal customers choose us for their tennis court needs.
