Resurfacing & Crack Repair
Over time, a tennis court surface will gradually wear away with use.
To maintain traditional asphalt courts, it is recommended to have them resurfaced every 5-7 years with a fresh acrylic coating. Acrylic Resurfacer is formulated differently than basic tennis court color coatings, has more pure latex, and suspends large amounts of silica sand and other minerals for the purpose of filling voids in the surface. This restores texture and produces a longer lasting surface.
All asphalt courts will experience some level of cracking over time as well. When courts are resurfaced, cracks are filled, however most will return to the surface quickly, especially once temperatures drop.

Crack Repair
After decades using different crack repair systems, Southeastern Tennis has developed our own version that we believe is the best for preventing cracks from returning.
It is a four part system consisting of tape, 2 layers of fabric, and fiberglass along the edges. When applied over a cracked court, the previous cracks will not return.
